At the start of Holy Week it is Palm Sunday today and at our church there will be the blessing and distribution of Palm Crosses to mark the arrival of Jesus into Jerusalem at the beginning of the week which would lead to his crucifixation.
With so much going on yesterday I am sure there were lots of people who were as glad as I was that the weather was so good – summer weather even never mind spring. Today looks set fair too good news for the many visitors to the Ramsbottom Chocolate Fair.
Congratulations to those who identified One for Arthur as being only the second Scottish trained horse to win the Grand National.
