As I feared my journey into London yesterday involved a walk from Euston thanks to the tube strike and there being no underground. Just to make the event even more exciting there was heavy rain in Central London. Hey ho.
Today, I am chairing the first two debates in Westminster Hall and then it is Foreign Office questions followed by the final stages of the Commonwealth Development Corporation Bill and consideration of the amendments made in the House of Lords to the Police and Crime Bill. This afternoon, I am attending the first meeting of the new year of the Backbench Business Committee.
