It should be an interesting first trip back to Westminster as I understand the tube is on strike. As always there may be several items of extra business on the agenda after the Christmas recess. Officially the first business is questions to the Department for Work and Pensions followed by the final stages of the Technical and Further Education Bill. In between those items there could be several Urgent Questions granted by the Speaker and Statements from Government Ministers. We shall see.

2017 – 2017 and still strikes. I remember the 1970’s and boy the strikes worked well then – NOT. But would have thought by now that the lessons would have been learnt.
