The Rt. Hon David Davis spoke from the Government despatch box for the first time in nearly two decades yesterday as the new Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union made a Statement to the House of commons setting out what progress has been made over the summer in establishing the new department which is going to lead and co-ordinate our departure from the European Union. david spoke at the despatch box and answered questions for two hours dealing with every question thrown at him adeptly.
The Statement can be read here:
Today after Justice Questions when I am going to raise the issue of the Bury Courts the main business is the conclusion of the report Stage of the Finance Bill and the Third Reading of the Bill which should be the final stage of its Commons procedure.
Can you summarise what he said? Too me it seemed very little!
