I was invited to visit D-Caff yesterday. This is a new venture organised by the Greenmount Village Community Association www.greenmountvillage.org.uk
It provides an opportunity for people living with dementia, their carers, families and friends to meet together in a relaxed atmosphere. It takes place on the second Friday of the month starting on 1.15pm and the next meeting is on 8th July.
Many of us know someone who is dealing with the problems caused by dementia and I am sure they would be given a warm welcome if they went along. The theme yesterday was the Queen’s 90th Birthday and they all had a celebration afternoon tea!
