I launched the 2015 competition yesterday as part of Small Business Saturday to find this years winner of the Best small shop in Ramsbottom competition. Last year it was won by Woodholme Suppplies a veritable ‘Aladdin’s Cave’of a shop. Entry forms will be being distributed from tomorrow so if you have a favourite shop in Rammy make sure you vote for them. Entries close on December 31st.
I mentioned last weeks how it was necessary for the local Conservatives to keep having small events to keep going. This weekend provided further evidence of that with a coffee morning organised by Bury Conservatives yesterday and this afternoon Church Ward are holding an afternoon tea to raise a few bob.
