Wednesday over already. I have had a relatively quiet week up to now. I followed the cricket on Monday whilst catching up on paperwork. Yorkshire defied Lancashire to hold out for a draw in the Roses game and unfortunately the Aussies did the same against England. I am off to the first day of the 4th Test on Friday so I will get to see some live Test cricket and hopefully the day will not be affected by the weather.
Yesterday, I went to the opticians to have my eyes tested as it was two years since they were last checked. In the evening I attended a meeting of Tottington St. John’s Cricket Club. Today, apart from attending the weekly meeting of Bury Rotary Club at lunchtime I have been working on various projects at home and managed a couple of hours working on the garden.
