Many thanks to Peter Carpenter the CEO and Richard Burslem from Wallwork in Bury for hosting my visit this week. Wallwork is typical of so many companies in Bury in that they beaver away largely unknown by most people. the work they do is very high tech and whilst they may not be a household name their customers most certainly are.
In essence they treat the surface of metal products to extend their lifespan. It is of course much more complex than this but in a nutshell that is the way I tend to summarise what they do.
