A busy few days. I have been out knocking on doors listening to people’s views about the forthcoming referendum. Lots of different opinions. Lots of people still undecided.
In addition to keeping an eye on the Third Test between England and Sri Lanka and the start of the European Championships I visited the Summer Fair at Summerseat and a Boules competition at Affetside. Unfortunately, the weather has not exactly been summer sun this weekend but a good time was had by all nevertheless! Yesterday, I also attended the special service marking 100 years of cub scouts which was also attended by the Mayor and the Deputy Lieutenant.
