There will be a special service at St. Anne’s in Tottington today for Mothering Sunday which I will be attending. Most of the duties will be undertaken by members of the Mothers Union and in past years small posies of flowers have been handed out to the congregation to give to their mothers. After that I will be going with Susan to visit her parents over in Blackburn and recalling my own mother whose 31st anniversary of her death will be later this month.
Yesterday, I was busy with constituents cases and we took CeeCee to the V.E.T’s for his annual check up and booster injection. Then, I joined the Conservatives Councillors delivering their latest newsletter and went to say hello to those from the Grassroots Out campaign who are campaigning for the UK to leave and who were handing out information leaflets in Kay Gardens ahead of the referendum in June.
I’ve never seen one of these newsletters.
