I was busy yesterday trying to catch up with as many cases and problems as possible before flying off today to the States. In the evening I went to a pie and peas fundraiser for local party funds with the MP for Colne Valley Jason McCartney as the guest speaker. Jason is oneMP who really has had a life before politics having served in the RAF and been a broadcast journalist on the BBC and ITV before entering Parliament.
If all goes to plan I should be in Salt Lake City by tonight after two lengthy flights. So, hopefully I will be reporting in from there tomorrow!
