The main focus of attention in the House of Commons today will be financial matters. After questions to the Secretary of State for the Department of Work and Pensions the main business will be the Second Reading of the Bank of England and Financial Services Bill which aims to improve the governance of financial affairs after the banking collapse.
This is followed by a debate on the Financial Conduct Authority scheduled by the Backbench Business Committee
