The Cities and Local Government Devolution Bill duly cleared all its stages in the House of Commons last night and now returns to the House of Lords so they can consider the changes made in the Commons.
After Justice questions European Union matters are the focus of attention today in the House of Commons as the changes the House of Lords has made to the EU Referendum Bill can be considered. The main change was to allow 16 and 17 year old children to vote. As a similar change to the Cities and Local Government Devolution Bill was overturned in the Commons yesterday I expect the same will happen today.
Yesterday I also met with a representative from the charity United Response who provide supported accommodation for disabled people across the Country including in Bury.
