I have been notified that as part of the roll out of 4G mobile telephone technology more masts are being activated to operate at 800 Mhz in Bury. Whilst this is excellent news as it will mean the availability of faster mobile broadband there is a small possibility that the activation of these new 4G frequencies may result in some television views experiencing difficulties with their Freeview. Fortunately an organisation called at800 are on hand to help.
They can be contacted via their website at www.at800.tv or by phone on 0333 31 31 800 (best from mobiles) of 0808 13 13 800 (free from landlines).
Alternatively anyone experiencing problems with their Freeview can contact me and I will take it up.
If you live in a building with a communal aerial system where the antennae or aerial is not your responsibility at800 will help your landlord or property manager to resolve the problem.
