Creating a huge stir!

Sue and I took some time out yesterday from preparing for the Conservative Party Conference to attend one of the many events taking place up and down the Country as part of the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning to raise funds for MacMillan Cancer Support. We went to the Coffee morning organised at Park Farm in Walmersley/ Ramsbottom ( depending where you want to draw the boundary!).
The event was very well attended and Sue who is a Governor at Woodhey School was pleased to see that pupils from Woodhey were helping out at the event.
In the afternoon I accompanied Councillor Ijaz Ahmad ( Redvales) on his visit to the Mosque for prayers and chatted to a number of residents with him about local issues.
Today we are off to Birmingham ahead of the Party Conference which gets underway tomorrow.
