The Prime Minister continues her visit to the Gulf Co-operation today to discuss the possibilities for new free trade arrangements between the UK and Gulf countries. The PM becomes the first woman to ever attend the Council.
Back at Westminster there are questions to the Justice Department followed by the remaining stages of the Health Services Medical Supplies Costs Bill. I have several appointments outside the Chamber starting with chairing a Delegated Legislation Committee which will be considering new regulations under the Immigration Act 2014 to make it more difficult for illegal immigrants to open and operate a bank account.
I am also moving from hearing applications on the Backbench Business Committee today to making an application. I will be asking for a debate in the main Chamber on the situation in Kashmir. Many constituents of Kashmiri heritage will be pleased the subject is to be considered as there has been a recent upsurge in violence with many killed and injured.
