The big news on the national political front has been the demand by two of the Prime Minister’s former Cabinet colleagues that there should be a secret ballot of Labour MP’s to see if they still support him. Incredible. As the Conservatives have discovered the hard way voters don’t like it when parties are divided (or even give the impression of being divided).
