David with members of the Bury Ladies Guild of the RNLIJust as I was about to give up on the idea that we would have any good barbecue weather this year – on the right day that is – I am pleased to say that today has been just about the perfect barbecue weather. A great relief for the ladies of the Bury Ladies Guild of the Royal National Lifeboat Institute who have been planning their summer barbecue for this date for many months. A big thanks to them and especially to Stuart and Sandra Cain who allowed their beautiful garden to be used to hold the event. Several hundred pounds were raised to support the vital work of the RNLI.
