Seventy Years Ago

It is worth sparing a thought today that it is 70 years ago today that the Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain made the historic broadcast announcing that our Country was at war with Germany. Thus began the Second World War which was to last six years and cast a shadow that lasts to this day for the many families who lost loved ones in the conflict. We must never forget the sacrifices that generation made so we can enjoy the freedoms we have today.
