Pets in Need Open Day and Dog Show

Sue and I have attended the Pets in Need Open Day and Dog Show on Turton Road Tottington this afternoon. I was away when this event was held last year so I was pleased to be able to attend again and invited to present the winners with their cups and shields.

It was very well attended as always and hopefully will have raised lots of much needed funds for this great local charity. Of course we took CeeCee and although he did not catch the judges eye in the Best Dog or Best Pedigree categories he did manage to win a Reserve rosette ( 4th in other words ) in the Waggiest Tail competiton. His first ever rosette!

On Friday I attended the Flag raising ceremony to mark Pakistan Independence Day at Bury Town Hall. I then caught up with some paperwork in the office and yesterday in between the rain showers I was busy doing work around the house and in the garden.
