From there we went on to a BBQ and Garden Party at the home of Stuart and Sandra Cain in Bankhouse Road who were raising funds for Ataxia UK. Fortunately the sun was out and once we brought CeeCee out he was as usual a big hil especially with the children. In addition to the normal raffle there was also a raffle for a framed and signed Bury FC shirt signed by all the members of the team in the last season which I was lucky enough to win!
Just to recap on the past few days I was down at Audenshaw on Thursday as part of my new role as a volunteer for Young Enterprise ( more about this in future posts! ). I was helping to run a course where around a hundred Year 10 pupils were split into teams of about ten and each team had to learn how to run a football club.
In the evening we took CeeCee to his training class. CeeCee has moved from the Monday night class to the Thursday night class and Thursday was his last visit to the Parish Church Hall because the training club Elton Dog Training Club are moving to a new base next week and his next class will be there. ( Again more on this in future posts).
On Friday we went over to Morecambe for a short one night stay to say hello to our godchildren and meet their two new pets two Staffordshire Bull Terriers called Sky and Tess who are both just a couple of months old. They had only just had their injections so they could not meet up with CeeCee – that will be fun!
