David and CeeCee at the Boxing Day cricketSue and I walked off the turkey and Christmas pudding by walking CeeCee down to Summerseat to watch the Boxing Day cticket match between Brooksbottom and Tottington St. John’s. Brooksbottom batted first making 99 off their 20 overs, in reply Tottington St. John’s could only manage 89. Fortunately the weather was clear and sunny. In the summer it would have been a perfect day for cricket, in December it was crisp and cold making the leek and potato soup we had during the the change of innings very welcome.
