Last night CeeCee went to his first Christmas Party hosted by the Elton Dog Training Club and Sue and I went along as his guests. As we are persevering with getting him used to his haltie collar he was not his usual self (basically he sulks when he has his haltie on and spends most of his time trying to remove it.)

We had a great evening there were lots of classes and competitions to enter including an informative and entertaining quiz. The evening included had delicious meat and potato pie and peas- for owners not dogs!

The highlight for CeeCee was being part of the five strong team which won the relay race which involved the handler controlling dog around a course of cones whilst trying to keep a tennis ball on top of an upturned polysterene cup. How we managed to go up and down the hall without me dropping the ball I will never know. Unfortunately CeeCee was less successful when it came to him retrieving a sausage that I had to throw for him to retrieve. He did bring it back but it was in his stomach!

Over last weekend I attended a fundraising party for the Conervatives on Saturday evening, a friends birthday party and the Christingle Service at St. Anne’s, Tottington on Sunday
