Hi, everyone. Just realised I have not posted for a few days.
Was working last week. Friday went over to Morecambe for the night. Yesterday, after church in the morning North Manor Ward held a Sunday lunch at the Walmersley Conservative Club which I attended. Superb buffet, usual raffle and a few more pounds raised to keep the Party going. It is a common misconception that somehow the Conservative Party is funded by rich individuals. The truth for most Associations is that they are completely reliant on a small band of volunteers who hold events throughout the year to fund the work of the Association.
After the North Manor event I went to Acre Bottom to watch the cricket. Unfortunately, Ramsbottom lost to East Lancs.
Throw in a couple of trips to the gym, dealing with my post and emails, catching up with some chores around the house and that is pretty much what I have been up to.
