I went to the ‘Grand Re-Opening’ of Tottington Parish Hall last night. After years of fundraising and months of hard work the Hall is now once again available for use by local groups. Already a number of groups have made enquiries about hiring the Hall for their meetings. Last night we had a three course meal which was pate to start followed by pork – cooked on the premises on a spit, with poatoes and veg The sweet was fruit pie and cream. The entertainment was superb with two excellent young musicians playing saxaphone and keyboards, followed by a display of dancing and then a duo called Soul Temptations who played two sets to finish the evening.
