Rossendale Ladies Choir

Sue and I have attended a concert at Bury Parish Church this evening in aid of Bury Society for Blind and Partially Sighted People. The main performers were the Rossendale Ladies Choir who had a varied repertoire with something to suit most musical tastes.

It was a very pleasant evening to what has been a busy if fairly typical day. This morning I went to meet with the Chairman of a local business and a major local employer to discuss how they are coping with the economic recession. I then called in at a coffee morning organised by the Bury North Conservative Ladies Committee to raise funds for the Party.

I then called to see former Bury Council Leader Albert Little who is recovering after a fall at home. For all those who know Albert I can report that I found him in good spirits and hopefully he will make a full recovery.

Then after attending a meeting of Bury Rotary Club it was back home to catch up on my post, emails and phone messages. Say hello to my in-laws who were visiting. Take CeeCee out for a walk. Long before I had completed all the tasks on my to do list it was time to set off for the concert.
