Holcombe Village – New road layout

The days fly by I am so busy at the moment. This evening I have been to the Ramsbottom, Northe Manor and Tottington Local Area Partnership meeting. As usual only a miniscule proportion of local residents attended. There was a presentation about the new road layout which is to be introduced in Holcombe Village which will make the footpaths easier for wheelchair users to use and reduce the speed of traffic passing through the village.

Yesterday we hosted a coffee morning for the Bury North Conservatives Ladies Group. It was also our wedding anniversary and I cooked an Indian meal for Sue and I ( absenting myself from the Bury West Local Area Partnership!).

On Tuesday evening I accompanied Sue at a wine and mince pie evening held at the Summerseat Garden centre to raise funds for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution.

Last weekend we were over at Morecambe for a couple of days. CeeCee was 8 months old on Sunday and you will see above a pic of CeeCee and I at the famous statue of Eric Morecambe on a blustery Morecambe seafront taken on Sunday.
