Labour’s Deputy Leader

Whilst we have been deprived of a contest for the Leadership of the Labour Party there are no fewer than six lined up in the race to be the Deputy Leader of the Labour Party. Labour elect their Leaders using an electoral college where MP’s, Party Members and Trade Unionists all have a vote. Well who will come out on top? I don’t think any of the candidates is head and shoulders above the others but I think from what I have seen I think either Alan Johnson or Hilary Benn will come out on top. It will be interesting to see how many people actually bother to vote I think I can safely predict that the non voters will considerably outweigh the votes cast for the eventual winner.
