Had a busy day yesterday. Went to a meeting in the morning to discuss a fundraising dinner later in the year.
After a quick lunch I spent a few hours with Susan going to the gym for a workout and swim. I managed to catch some of the Cup Final which I have to say wasn’t one of the most memorable games I have ever seen.
In the evening I went down to the Drill Hall in Bury for a Concert by the Fusiliers Band to raise funds for the new Museum. During the interval I had an opportunity to catch up with Bury’s new Council Leader on his first couple of days in charge. It was a brilliant performance and I am pleased to say the very large Hall was almost full so hopefully they will have raised a good amount towards the appeal.
