Travel delays….

Phew, what a day yesterday was. A 5.30 am start for a trip to Conservative Party Headquarters in London and due to all the bad weather and travel disruption I did not get in home until 1 am so a long and tiring day to say the least. I will not bore you with all the details of what went wrong but a brief summary will give you the idea: Train arrived late into London, Underground station shut due to power failure, Late arriving at meeting, Then on way back most of the trains were cancelled due to fallen trees across the line. I did manage to meet up with a friend in London and had a nice Italian meal before setting off back so the day was not without some highlights.
