Congratulations…..

This morning I attended the Family Communion service at St.Anne’s Church in Tottington. After the service during coffee we were informed of the fantastic news that the vicar of Tottington the Reverend Hugh Bearn has been appointed as one of the Queen’s Chaplains. There are only 36 appointed and it is in the personal gift of Her Majesty. This is a great honour for the Church at St.Anne’s but most of all it is a very great honour and privilege for Hugh and his family and I was pleased to be able to express my sincere congratulations to him it is extremely well deserved.
