Friday Night Update!

Whilst I may have enjoyed a quiet evening in Bury sadly the residents of Ramsbottom were not so lucky. I was in Ramsbottom this morning where I met Councillor Barry Theckston and he told me of the problems endured by local residents yesterday. My conversations with local shopkeepers soon confirmed that it had been another evening where a crowd of over 80 had gathered in the town centre. Planters had been upturned and earlier in the week windows of local shops had been smashed. Cllr Theckston has spoken  to police and asked that patrols in the area be increased.
