Ice cold in Bolton

I was over helping the campaign in Bolton West today. It was cold, very cold. Despite the sun shining the temperature never ventured above freezing point. I am pleased to say that the welcome on the doorstep was much more welcoming and there was plenty of support for my colleague in Bolton West Councillor Susan Williams. As ever I think it is difficult to generalise what people are concerned about from random meetings but there is no doubt that alot of people feel let down by the Government and many former Labour supporters may withhold their support. I had one lifelong Labour supporter say he was considering voting for the BNP. I had had several people say they doubted they would vote for any party.
