REPLY TO COMMENT FROM JOHN BYRNE
I thought that the speech from Councillor Bob Bibby referred to issues that were relevant to the audience.
Thank you for submitting your views.

I would like to hear your comments on Bob Bibby's contribution at the ADAB function.

The contributons by David Chaytor and Saj Karim were quite in keeping with what was meant to be a celebration of the prophet.

Surely it was totally inappropriate to make such an overtly speech.

But then again should we be surprised?

Dear Sir,
There was a meeting at the Met Studio Theatre in Bury on Saturday 29th March. The Meeting was a Debate about the Lisbon Treaty. It was attended by Gary Titley MEP, and representatives from UKIP, one from the LibDems and chaired by David Chaytor. No Conservative representative! A magnificent occasion to put the Tory viewpoint was lost by non-attendance, very disapointing. There were upwards of one hundred people in attendance, all aged between 50 and 70 with a variety of concerns, all of which in my opinion were glossed over with pontification and bluster. This was a missed opportunity. It was particularly interesting that all the speakers agreed that the Treaty was 98% old Constitution. The main themes from the audience were:
1) We want a referendum. Why a broken promise from all three parties?
2) Why is the UK America's lackey? (Euro Army?)
4) Who governs the UK, Parliament or Brussels?
5) Totally in or out of Europe? (LibDEm standpoint.)
6) Loss of Sovereignty.(Too much signed over.)
7) Would it be isolationism on the part of the UK to be out of the EU totally.
On this point Labour(Chaytor) compared the UK, in this scenario, to Northern Ireland(past), Burma and North Korea!!!
This indicates this fellows level of thinking.

It's one rule for MPs and another for the rest of us! As a civil servant, I have to provide receipts for everything I am claiming, no matter how small the amount, and retain all receipts/paperwork for 3 years after then end of the tax year in which the claim is made. Claims can be audited at anytime during that period.

say what you really think about Bury's loss or the Cup in general or the magnificent game at Liverpool yesterday but not just a couple of bland statements as above, david plse.

Hi,
I couldnt find a mail addy for you so thought that I'd send this through to you.

Its come to my attention that China is lifting its protection of tigers because "China stated that its own domestic tiger parts trade ban currently in place had not worked and that it had negatively impacted both the culture and health of the Chinese people."

Now whilst this may not seem like the best place to bring this up, I thought that it was worth mentioning to you so that you could raise it as the PM has gone "sightseeing" over there currently.

With only 5000 Tigers left in the wild I find the whole thing disgusting and want my local representative for the people to have a chance to act upon this and see what can be done for these animals that if China gets their way, will be extinct within out lifetime.
Heres the Link:

Thank you

Mr Nuttall - is it right that this new so-called Conservative MEP sacked is old staff by Text? If it's true, it'll be interesting to see what the voters in the North West will make of that approach when the time comes won't it?

Thanks for your comment Jamie.
I think you will find that David Cameron never used the words "hug a hoodie". I believe he did speak about the importance of not judging all young people because of the actions of a minority.

With regard to charging for out-of-town parking this is not an idea from David Cameron. The idea came from the Quality of Life working group who produced a very detailed report of over 500 pages. They suggested that local authorities could be allowed to require out-of-town shopping centres to charge for parking that is currently free if the existence of such large centres was threatening the survival of small high street retail businesses. This is one of literally hundreds of proposals from the six working groups and it may never be adopted as Party policy.

David Cameron has explicitly said that the next Conservative Government will seek to move the burden of taxation onto activities that are harmful to the environment and use the proceeds to reduce tax on families.

I am sorry if poor reporting of the Conservative position on this matter has resulted in your misunderstanding about the true position and I am happy to have had the chance to set the record straight.

The Party wants to hear the views of as many people as possible on the reports which have been produced and you can submit your viewson the Stand up Speak up website which can be accessed by clicking on the link in the blogroll to the right.

Once again many thanks for your comment.
