David Nuttall M.P. – Bury North

This evening I attended a meeting at the Over Hulton Conservative Club in Bolton of the Greater Manchester Branch of the Royal College of Nurses. The main focus of the meeting was the Transforming Community Services Agenda which arises out of a document published by the Government earlier in the year. I understand around 50 local M.P.’s and Parliamentary Candidates had been invited in the event only my colleague Councillor Susan Williams the Conservative Parliamentary Candidate for Bolton West and a Liberal Democrat Councillor attended. Nevertheless, we were able to have a very useful and constructive discussion and I certainly left the meeting feeling very much more informed about the feelings of the nurses on this issue.
